Homework Heroes: Support for SATs

An opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers of Year 5 + 6 children to understand the content and requirements of SATs tests, so that informed support can be provided.

Homework Heroes: Core Maths Skills

An opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers of Reception, Year 1 + 2 children to learn the CPA approach (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) in order to support their child/children with homework.

Homework Heroes: Multiplication

An opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers of Year 3 + 4 children to learn or refresh multiplication times tables and how they influence many other areas of maths, in order to support their child with homework.

Household Maths: Bills and Budgeting

With a better understanding of maths functions, this course will help you to make your money work for you and ease the worry of financial uncertainty.

Making Sense of Pensions

Understand what money from state and workplace/private pensions you are likely to receive and how to make your money go further.

Maths for Employment

This course will help you with the basic maths required for a wide range of jobs and can lead to formal qualifications and better employment prospects.

This short course will improve your confidence with basic computer functions, including the use of software tools to create, organise and analyse data.
